Taylor Rubin

Taylor Rubin is the patient intake coordinator at CBT LA, driven by a deep passion for human behavior and advocacy for mental health. Taylor received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she majored in Psychological & Brain Sciences. During her studies, Taylor worked alongside doctoral students in UCSB’s VIU Lab as a research assistant in gathering behavioral and physiological data better to understand the inner workings of the human visual system. Taylor’s commitment to learning about the brain and mental health extends beyond academia. She gained valuable experience working at the Mental Wellness Center in Santa Barbara, where she focused on providing companionship and guidance to those facing challenges with addiction, homelessness, and severe persistent mental illness. Drawing from a place of compassion, she excels in understanding the therapeutic needs of clients and guides them through the intake process at CBT LA. She approaches those interested in seeking therapy with a warm demeanor, eager to match clients with the therapist that best suits their needs.
