Dr. Suraji Wagage is a postdoctoral fellow at CBT Los Angeles specializing in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other concerns using evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE). Her clinical approach emphasizes working collaboratively with clients from a strengths-based perspective to build valued, rich, and rewarding lives.
Dr. Wagage completed her undergraduate education at Brown University and her graduate education at Drexel University. She completed an APA-accredited psychology doctoral internship in the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System at VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, and has obtained specialized training in mindfulness practices, mood and anxiety disorders, women’s health, trauma treatment, and addictions. She has served as a clinician in a variety of outpatient, inpatient, school, and hospital settings.
