Dr. Gila Frank is a licensed psychologist who specializes in evidence-based therapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapies to address anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma and a wide array of psychological problems. In addition to CBT for depression and anxiety, Dr Frank has intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for emotion dysregulation disorders and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. Dr. Frank works with children, adolescents, families, and adults providing responsive and culturally competent therapy to meet the needs of her clients in a timely fashion.
Dr. Frank completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at UCLA and her doctorate at Pepperdine University. Dr. Frank has trained at multiple settings including Bienvenidos Children’s Institute, Jewish Family Services, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and Pepperdine University Counseling Clinic.
